Cost segregation

I have been doing cost segregation on single family homes for last year.

As the value of each property is lower, less than 200 k, I have been using automated computer cost seg assessment. Using company, KBKG.

there has been some concern expressed by some podcasters that automated, not in person and less expensive cost seg, will not hold up as well for an IRS audit. Also that if the total cost seg depreciation is over 50-100 k, it will trigger threshold for IRS for an audit.

Is it worth the additional expense of in person cost seg assessment with actual engineerng report?

Can you let me know your thoughts plese

thanks
