Illinois death tax
As trustee of my parents estate the trust had to pay a $258,000. Death tax because my parents estate topped $4M in 2022.
The farm my dad inherited was sold for my 3 siblings portion/acres and I kept my 40 acres.
How can my children avoid the Illinois death trap when we pass???
